Iowa Summer Engagement Session: Getaway cars & Charcuterie picnic

When talking with Emily + Aamon about what they wanted in their engagement session, they were having such a hard time deciding between two different aesthetics / styles… To which I said: why not do both? So we went for it! We started off their session in downtown Des Moines with a borrowed red convertible that leaned into the cool + playful vibe they were hoping for. Emily was hoping for subtle Kortney + Travis themes, and I think we nailed that. ;) Next, we drove across town to West Des Moines to a favorite park of mine to fit the bill of “soft romance picnic”. It’s safe to say we had SO MUCH FUN with both of these looks. Here’s your reminder to do whatever the heck you wanna do with your engagement session!
