7 Midwest Wedding Venues
I'm an Iowa girl, and I love all things Midwest! I think the Midwest is something worth celebrating just as much as those tropical beach weddings or mountain view elopements. Here are some of my favorite venues that make the Midwest feel like such a dream:
The Chateau on Madeline Island - Madeline Island, Wisconsin
This venue has it all: multiple cabins for the wedding party and their families to stay and hang out at, a Superior lakefront view and dock, the perfect spot to put up a big tent for your reception, and not to mention the most scenic property I've ever seen.
2. Pinewood Weddings & Events - Minnesota
A venue literally among the pinewoods in Cambridge, MN! If you’re looking for a modern and elegant space with lots of room, this is it! A perfectly scenic property with multiple indoor/outdoor spaces for ceremony + reception. It really is the best of both worlds.
3. Rapid Creek Cidery - Iowa City, Iowa
A moment for the outdoor ceremony spot. *ahhhhhhh*. The tree is everything, and the reception hall gives all the cozy dinner feels!! A gem for sure :)
4. The Magnolia- Dubuque, Iowa
I recently did a styled shoot here and it was one of the dreamiest setups EVER. The Magnolia is upscale, classy, and big city feels meet historic Iowa downtown! One to save for inspiration ASAP!
5. Emerald Hills - Iowa
Nestled in the classic Iowa countryside, this venue features an outdoor ceremony location with a lake view! Come on, what more could you ask for in a Iowa wedding venue??
6. Lilac Hill in Nebraska (Kelly + Paul)
The cutest hidden gem that is so versatile! This is such a great place to make your own for your big day. Again... this property speaks for itself!!
7. Nature Link in Minnesota
A brand new wedding and event venue nearby where my family has been vacationing for years in Minnesota and I can't wait to see it in real life! Definitely worth a look at :)
wedding venue pro tip: if you're leaning on the intimate side for your wedding day, consider checking out local Airbnb's, VRBO's, bed & breakfasts, etc!
