Harley and Jacob Modern Midwest Wedding

There’s nothing quite like the high school sweetheart kind of love - it’s like all the best romantic comedies you’ve ever seen where two best friends fall in love and spend the rest of their lives growing up and creating years of memories together. Harley and Jacob are pretty much that couple. They met freshman year of high school in class and were best friends/ dated throughout the remainder of high school. Harley said she knew Jacob was the one when they slow danced together at their freshmen homecoming *aaawwww*. Fast forward 9 years and it’s pretty fitting these two are spending their 10th year together as husband and wife!!!

Harley and Jacob’s day was full of sweet moments and obvious amounts of love — also plenty of tequila, but that’s beside the point. Some of the really notable things were Harley's grandma helping her put her jewelry on, Harley's mom helping her get dressed, sharing first looks with her bridesmaids, her brother and dad, and as bride and groom, and the 10 minutes of alone time Harley and Jacob took on the back patio of the venue. They took this moment to exchange gifts and soak in the fact that they're freshly husband and wife!

In general, the day was FULL of intentional detail. You could just FEEL the love between this pair of the absolute nicest humans, but also between them and the friends and family that joined them in celebrating! One of the clearest moments of this was between Harley and her dad. Harley is a big daddy's girl, so for their father-daughter first look, she gifted him a tie with a photo of the two of them on the back of it. Her dad is a big tough dude, but this gift got him in his feels which was one of the many great moments shared :)

One of the BIGGEST dreams for me was getting to work with such an amazing vendor team — the staff at 1868 is so service and hospitality-driven, and working with Madisen is always an instant way to make the day joyous! Literal dream team! There is seriously so much value in having awesome vendors for your day.

A bottle of patron tequila made its way around on the party bus and during the reception lol

Congrats to these sweethearts on their big day! :)

xo, Kyndal
