Morgan + Matt’s Saylorville Lake Iowa Engagement Session

As a photographer, engagement sessions where you can get lost in the genuineness of a couple are by farrr the most fun. For Morgan and Matt’s engagement session, we met up in the Saylorville Lake area, and they were spoiled with the MOST golden lit evening an Iowa summer has to offer. During their engagement session, these two could not stop joking around with each other -- and that's truly the best kind of engagement session in my opinion. :)

If that wasn’t enough, their story is one that’ll have you feeling all the feels. Morgan and Matt both knew the other was the one pretty much right off the bat. In their early dating days, they even recall admitting to their parents that they believed the other was their soulmate. I know - AWWEEE :’) Two + years and a proposal later, their gut feelings proved true and now they’re getting married in a short 3 months!

One of my favorite things about their session, besides the fact that they were so dang fun to photograph, was Morgan's dress choice! We loooooove a floral dress!

SO excited to shoot their wedding this July at the 1868 Farmhouse in Boone, Iowa-- fingers crossed the sky spoils us with the same kind of light. ;)
