It’s no mystery that I’ve been LOVING in home sessions all year long — especially for families with young children. In home family sessions just tend to feel easier, more laid back, more real, and help kiddos open up big time. Plus, how sweet and nostalgic is it to have photos of you and your growing family in your home?? Ok moving on to the point!!!

A few weeks before Christmas in 2023, I got to hang out with this sweet family of four in Central Iowa. It was a random Friday morning and we lined it up with the kiddos naps and the parents’ lunch hour. Truly, that’s all we need is a good wake/break window! We snuggled on the couch, pointed out all of their favorite ornaments, and played with some toys by the tree. It was the sweetest time!
