Megan + Wyatt's Iowa Wedding day

Megan + Wyatt’s wedding day was one to remember! These two got married at Iowa State University -- where they met as students, which I think is extra special. :) Their ceremony was on the lawn of central campus overlooking the infamous Campanile, and their reception at the Alumni Center. Being an ISU alum myself, this day was so so dear to me! Their sentimental big day was shot by my amazing associate Carter.

Megan described their meeting to me and said, "Wyatt gave me a ride home from a party on his motorcycle about 4 years ago and we've been inseparable ever since! On our first date, we went to dinner at Spaghetti Works, then went to Up Down (where I kicked his butt at ski ball)." You can tell these two are absolutely head-over-heels for each other and have so many wonderful memories together throughout their dating years -- I LOVE that they wanted to document the moments of their wedding day at the place it all began!

One of my favorite moments of their day was their first look -- they read personal letters to each other and it was so so sweet! You can see their love for each other all over their faces, especially Wyatt -- we love an expressive groom!!!

Overall, their day felt timeless, nostalgic, and super sentimental. It also rained off and on all day, but it managed to hold off during photos and their ceremony -- somehow the weather knows not to put a damper on a couple’s wedding day. ;)
